Session:  Using Discovery Education Streaming in the Classroom (Formerly known as United Streaming)
Presenter:  Marie Haupt, Instructional Technology Specialist (Saeger Middle School)
Description:  Are you using Discovery Education (DE) in the classroom? Did you know there are so many other great resources in DE other than just the instructional videos? DE has digital video, audio files, images, and more that can also be used in a variety of multimedia applications/projects like Windows Movie Maker, SMART Notebook lessons, and more.Come learn about all the great features Discovery Education has to offer. Participants will explore and learn about My Builder Tools like: Writing Prompt Builder, Quiz Builder, and Assignment Builder.  Additional tools like Calendars, Discovery Education Atlas, Lesson Plan Library, and Ready Zone will be explored.

The Power Point Presentation for this session can be found on Francis Howell's Shared Point website (plc.fhsdschools.org) in the Discovery Education Folder. Once on Shared Point click on Collaboration Sites, then Educational Technology, and finally United Streaming/Discovery Education.
